Shame on the author! A big fan of Elle James, I was delighted to find an aka, Myla Jackson. If it's Elle, I get to read another outstanding book--WRONG.
I trudged through the whole thing, waiting for the moment it became reasonable. I can get with the genie thing, the wish thing, but to ask whoever is reading the book to go along with the three stooges is just not fair. To ask the reader to accept the character has no self esteem, ok. To ask the reader to accept that at least two characters have the credentials to be a doctor and an archeologist but are retarded makes no sense and a total waste of my precious reading time. Did you think if the people weren't stupid, the book wouldn't be good?
I feel that if the reader accepts paranormal why try to make it a comic book. At least note in some way the writer is just kidding--this is not a real book!
